============================================================================ Code Blues is a fortuitous aggregation of blues-minded guys coalesced into a rhythm machine devoted to expounding a unique and engaging expression of that compelling musical form. They call it West Coast Blues. But it’s really a blend of modern takes combined with tribute and homage to the “old school” styles and churned out by five musicians who listen to the past, the present and each other while pouring out their individual souls in each and every tune. The sound is anchored by Michael Fierro "The Ironman" and Rick Pittman on bass and drums driving and swaying with a pulse developed playing over 30 years together and with others. “Big Daddy” Craig Louis Dingman overlays the beat with a sweet fat rhythm, traces of jazz sweetness, expressive lead guitar and vocals. Bruce Krupnik cuts into the mix with a sonic charge, adding high flying guitar solos, funky rhythmic riffs and vocals. And riding on top of the locomotive is Rick Munoz on harmonica and vocals, whose musical teeth were cut in the blues because his beginnings in music come out of the blues.
